What about the beetles and litte thingys on the sqarsh leaves. I was in fantasy land not being proactive. Is there any hope out there?
ReplyDeleteFor bugs you can stretch screen over the standard blocker frame. However you will then be eliminating bees, which you need. I've had luck with a spraying a mix of soapy water, cayanne pepper and garlic, that our friend Diana brewed up. That seems to run off softer worms and aphids. It doesn't seem to bother the bees. You can also plant merigolds and cosmos, as they repel some pests.
